Sheep Photo dump 3/08/2024
You can really see the progression of the sheep through this lower section of the farm in the photos from this past week. The pictures below highlight a week and a half of sheep grazing. We're running the sheep in small paddocks which are moved daily. This type of management goes by many names which would all fall under the umbrella of "regenerative agriculture". This type of livestock management is a win for the environment, the land, the consumer, and the livestock. Condensing the sheep into small paddocks which are frequently moved allows us to avoid the use of chemical dewormers. In the above picture you can see 3 paddocks. Yesterday's is the bare paddock to the right, the one in the center is today's paddock that we just moved them into, and the paddock on the left is for tomorrow.
